"There
comes a point in many people’s lives when they start
looking at themselves and realise they are not reaching their
full potential. And it is at this stage they turn to different
types of therapy to bring about positive change." |
Denise is a therapist with a background in counselling, hypnotherapy, EFT and nursing. She has worked in GP practices, hospitals and private practice.
The practitioner treats clients on an individual basis as experience has taught her that while a particular type of therapy may be suitable for one client, it may not necessarily be right for another.
She believes the majority of people have the potential to change if they really want to and have the right guidance to facilitate this process.
Sometimes it is difficult to measure change, but it is important for clients to realise that making small adaptations to their thinking patterns and behaviour can make a big difference to their lives.
Therapy, whether it is centred on counselling, EFT or hypnosis, is about the therapist and the client working together in a joint effort to bring about a positive outcome. A client’s commitment to working inside and outside of therapy is essential in order to achieve the goals they set themselves.
For those who think they are ready to make changes and are willing to put in the effort, then this may be the right time to start therapy.
